THE CASE AGAINST FUR
Fur farming causes extreme animal suffering. Animals are confined to tiny wire cages, leading to self-mutilation, cannibalism, and psychosis. Killing methods include gas chambers, electrocution, and skinning alive. Wild trapped animals will frequently chew off their own limbs to escape. The environmental impacts are also devastating, with fur being the most polluting major textile per kilogram.
